Appointment scheduler for the Louisiana OMV
The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles needed a scheduler that could live with real offices: storms, outages, and a volume a walk-in line cannot absorb.
Offices had run on walk-ins. In 2020 a third-party scheduling tool was put in front of that demand. It did not hold up under the scale, and it could not close availability in real time when a storm or an outage shut an office.
Envoc built a scheduler for that operation. It went into production in March 2024. Residents booked more than one million appointments on it, and the service held an NPS of 65.
