BATON ROUGE, LA (September 14, 2015) - The Tabby Awards, the global competition celebrating the best tablet-optimized mobile apps for work and productivity, has announced the finalists for their 2015 Tabby Business Awards. Envoc’s latest product Spotter, “The Customizable Inspection App,” has been nominated for two awards this year for the “In-the-field” category for both iPad and Android versions of the app.
The judging panel for the 2015 Tabby Awards consists of 25 professionals with an expertise in mobile app design, development, or publishing, including IT and business professionals. These judges have decided that among the 150 submitted tablet apps, only 56 should move into the final round.
Tabby Award submissions are judged on a number of factors, including innovation, suitability for tablets, Design/User Experience, ease of use, performance and reliability, overall value for individual users, and the business value for organizations. Only those that meet or exceed these criteria move into the final round.
Spotter’s nomination for a Tabby Award puts it in great company in the mobile app industry. Previous winners include companies such as Adobe, Citi, Citrix, Rosetta Stone, PepsiCo, and Box. Winners of the 2015 Tabby Awards are expected to be announced at the end of fall.
