Quality Assurance Specialist


Envoc is a growing company looking for a destroyer of websites and applications. We need a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to assist us in our mission of providing a better reality to our clients through high quality custom software solutions and superior customer service. We are looking for someone with experience testing web and mobile applications, as well as public websites, who can apply their skills in a fast-paced agile environment. Envoc needs a QA specialist ready and willing to be relentless in testing, who can help our department grow and keep pace with our talented developers. In addition to making sure the job gets done right, an Envoc QA specialist is encouraged and expected to be involved throughout the product design process and suggest ways to improve user experience based on their understanding of the client’s needs. We need someone ready to dive headfirst into the details and be an advocate of superior customer service in every phase of our projects, before and after completion. 


  • Web application testing
  • Mobile application testing
  • Eye for detail
  • Incredibly organized
  • Ability to communicate clearly and thoroughly through written text
  • Ability to document issues thoroughly
  • Ability to use screen and video capturing tools for sake of bug documentation
  • Ability to track and assess completion of testing without formal test plan
  • Ability to create a thorough test plan
  • Ability to write end user documentation
  • Optional: MS SQL skills
  • Optional: Experience with automated testing
  • Optional: Experience with web application penetration testing, either ad hoc and/or tool assisted


  • Keeping track of project requirements gleaned through project notes as well as client meetings
  • Applying knowledge of product to test application / website
  • Applying the following testing suites to any product
    • Scope and Functional Testing
    • Usability / Visual Testing
    • Security Testing
    • Ad Hoc Testing
    • End-to-End Testing
  • Documenting all issues found
  • Working closely with developers and project manager to keep product tested and up-to-date from iteration to iteration
  • Writing end user documentation including User Acceptance Testing documentation
  • Conducting training sessions with end users
  • Suggesting ways to improve products and processes to provide an end-user experience above and beyond base business requirements
  • Providing first level customer support after project completion
  • Applying triage processes to client submitted issues to help resolve support cases


  • Degree from a higher learning institution
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the QA field
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Passion for testing and finding bugs


  • $45,000-$55,000
