Business Development Sales Rep for Software and Design

Job Summary

Envoc has a number of off-the-shelf products (Spotter, BubbleVision, FlipFire, and AppMelt), and a rich portfolio of offerings related to Web Design, Mobile Applications, Custom Software Development, Branding, Graphic Design, and Hosting. We even do business consulting, process management, and entrepreneureal idea vetting. We are looking for a dynamic sales individual that can identify and engage new clients for our products and services. We are a well established company with a suite of clients of all sizes, and a great reputation in Louisiana and beyond. What you will do in this position

The new Business Development Rep will work closely with the existing Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Executive Teams to bring new business to Envoc through identifying and closing new contracts. Sales leads will come from a number of sources, including existing clients, trade shows, and call lists. The ideal candidate will also be able to identify leads through their own business contacts. Sales activities include prospecting, sales calls/meetings, trade shows, contract creation and negotiation, and prospect/sales cycle tracking through the Envoc CRM (Currently, Solve 360 but we are evaluating others). The ultimate goal of the new Business Development Rep will be to create mutually beneficial long-term relationships between Envoc and prospects/clients.

What we are looking for in a candidate

The ideal candidate will have between 5-10 years successful sales experience; with preferably at least 5 of those in the software or related fields. They must be driven, articulate, and exceptionally good at tracking and working through all stages of the sales cycle. The candidate should work great in a team environment and be able to bring new ideas to the Sales and Marketing Teams through their years of experience. The position will work out of the Baton Rouge Envoc headquarters.
